A drawknife is a traditional woodworking hand tool used to shape wood by removing shavings. It consists of a blade with a handle at each end. Hand-forged. We made this little Straight Drawknife from carbon steel 52100. For our meaning this steel is best for carpentry tools. The blade is straight. After hardening HRC – 58-59. Handle made from ash tree. Covered with stain and after covered mineral oil and bees wax. Leather case included.
