Avoid touching the substrate after polishing. Mix glaze paint with water 5 to 6 times until the transparency of water disappears to improve the development of colors after firing. Fill the substrate on the back part with glaze paint and water mixture using a bamboo spatula to a thickness of about 1mm. Spread the paint evenly along the whole area of the substrate. Absorb excess water using a tissue. Apply CMC glue using a brush to prevent paint from falling off the surface. Add less paint on the front side than the backside to prevent cracking of the paint. Use a brush to spread the paint evenly. Use a tissue to absorb excess water and let it dry. Put in a baking pot and bake the substrate. Remove burrs of the paint around the edges. You can add metal fittings (not included in the kit) using metal adhesives (not included in the kit) to complete your work.
