Come join the fun while learning the basic techniques of needle felting. We will be exploring color and texture using wool roving (wool that is cleaned and carded, but not spun into yarn) and creating a landscape in this 3-hour class. The completed project will be 7"x9". All skill levels welcome! Ages: 12 and up Supplies: Wool roving, wool batting, felting needles, foam board, wood carders and your imagination! All supplies needed to create your project will be provided in class. You will take home your foam board and needles to use with future projects. Class fee includes all supplies. Teacher: Ann Clavin Fiber has been a part of my life since learning to quilt as a young girl from my grandmother and extending into middle school home economics sewing class. My family then moved to Ohio, and I continued my education at Kent State University fine art department. The stage was set for the exploration of felt.
