Appletons Kits - Mandala Kit Back in 2022 The Royal School of Needlework and Appletons came together to launch a competition using the theme of CELEBRATION. Mandala, designed by Anil Farzaneh, was the winner of the Competition. Originally from Iran, Farzaneh has settled in the Netherlands, and she created a beautiful mandala for her winning entry. In Farzaneh’s own words “It all started when I began sewing clothes for my dolls as a child and then I continued with different media including stained glass. Later on I started focussing on needlework and embroidery and this is one of my more traditional creations. Thank you so much for honouring me!” When stitched, the design measures 35cm diameter and makes a great cushion, wall-hanging or chair seat. This kit is prepared with all necessary components for you to make a beautiful piece of artwork, useable in a variety of ways. It includes Appletons Crewel Wool, printed British linen twill, a needle and instruction videos via a QR code so that your journey completing the Appletons Kits - Mandala Kit an easy and efficient one.
