Description

Longtime watercolorists remember the common use of butcher trays as a palette. Unfortunately, after American butcher shops stopped using these trays, they were virtually eliminated from the market, but with plastics falling out of favor as awareness of their environmental impact grows, we are seeing a renaissance of these traditional trays. Our white enamel butcher trays with deep blue rims typically have small chips in the enamel on the rim, giving them a pleasant vintage vibe, but the enamel on the working surface is pristine. These trays also tend to be slightly bowed in the center, allowing excess water to drain to the edges and prevent unwanted mixing of colorsa departure from the trays of old that makes them particularly well-suited to today's watercolorists.7"x10.5"Made in China
