Behentrimonium Methosulfate/Cetyl Alcohol/1,3- Butylene Glycol or BTMS 50 is a vegetable-based conditioning emulsifier. Since it is cationic (positively charged), it is extremely conditioning and adsorbs (creates a very fine coating) on skin and hair, providing an incredible finish that is only possible with cationic ingredients.Behentrimonium Methosulfate 50 is a quaternary ammonium salt derived from rapeseed oil by synthetically modifying it.
