Description

This uncirculated 1 Bahamian dollar banknote was issued in 1996 by the Central Bank of the Bahamas. It bears the signature of Governor F.H. Smith. Its obverse side contains English text, coral and fish, the map of Bahamas, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a tiara and the royal family order of King George VI. Its reverse side contains English text, a conch shell, the national emblem, and the police band. Security features of the note include a sand dollar registration device, a solid security thread printed BAHAMAS, and a watermark of a Spanish galleon. It is green in color and measures 156 mm x 67 mm.
