Winter Blues helps us usher in the colder months here in the northern hemisphere. Winter Blues stripes different blues, greens, and purples and has a grey mini for those overcast snowy days.This self striping yarn gives you fun color changes without needing to weave in all the ends, ain't nobody got time for that! Winter Blues goes from light purple, to a darker purple, to navy blue, to a sky blue to teal and starts all over again!On my 64 stitch socks (knit with US 1 needles) each color was about 4.5 rounds long, this will change depending on your stitch count and gauge, but will keep you wanting to keep going to get to the next color.Winter Blues is on my Cozy Fingering base which is a 4-ply fingering weight yarn (75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon) that is 100g and approximately 463 yds long. The mini you will also receive is a 20 g mini skein of Misty Mountains which is approximately 92 yds and perfect for a contrast toe, heel, and cuff!
There is an option to get a 50g main skein (stripes) and a 20g mini.
**PLEASE NOTE- Each colorway is dyed in small batches and slight color variations can and do occur! I do my best to ensure each skein is as similar as can be, but that is the nature of hand dyed yarn- it is art, not mass produced. I make every effort to show the truest colors in the skeins, but tones can vary in different lighting conditions and from screen to screen. To ensure the longevity of your hand dyed yarn I recommend hand washing in cool water with a wool wash and laying flat to dry**
