This is such an unusual item I literally couldn't categorize it! It's not actually a bracelet--it's a 'helping hand' to help you put on a bracelet by yourself. I've securely attached an alligator clamp onto a beautiful vintage, upcycled swizzle stick and hand wire-wrapped it in a matching color of copper or brass wire for an extra layer of pizazz. The alligator clamp teeth are covered with soft silicone tubing so as not to mark your jewelry when you affix this clamp to it to hold it steady while you use your other hand to close the clasp. It's hard to describe how to use this--the best thing to do would be to watch the video for a demo, but I'll do a quick description below: 1. Attach the alligator clamp to the end of your bracelet that is NOT attached to the clasp. 2. For best results, open and hold open the clasp before you dedicate your non-dominant hand to holding the bracelet helper (for me, this means using both hands to open the clasp before getting the bracelet helper in place with my left hand) 3. If you're right handed, lay the alligator clip part of the helper on your upturned underside of the left wrist with the tail of the bracelet trailing off to the right (reverse this if you are left handed) while firmly grasping the plastic handle of the helper with your left hand (it will stick out of you hand at the top). 4. Use your right hand to wrap the bracelet around your wrist (multiple times for a wrap bracelet) and then clip it onto a loop at the center of your wrist. 5. Once the clasp is closed, remove the bracelet helper. You can also use this helping hand to help you remove your bracelet if you need. I had so much fun coming up with this idea and am just in love with these vintage 'Stir Stix' that I've upcycled into these. They are so beautiful--they come in 6 gorgeous, jewel-like colors and each have glitter inside of them, making them not only functional but also fabulous! These swizzle sticks were used to stir cocktails in the '60's and '70s and were made by Soodhalter plastics. PLEASE NOTE: THESE ARE NOT NICKEL FREE! I needed a specific shape/size of alligator clamp to make these and they all contained nickel. I'm sorry!
