Description: Country Brook Design's Ribbon on Webbing gives you the best of both worlds: beautiful and complex ribbon patterns with the rugged strength and durability of our nylon webbing. Our skilled artisans sew this exclusive 7/8" patterned grosgrain ribbon onto 1" heavy nylon webbing with a double dose of B69 bonded nylon thread for a sturdy stitch you can rely on. Nylon webbing is a heavy-weight material and is stronger than polypropylene. Nylon has a soft, lustrous feel. In addition, it is easy to care for as it is machine washable. (We recommend you only dry it on low heat.) Grosgrain ribbon is a type of fabric characterized by its ribbed appearance. Grosgrain is a plain weave corded fabric, with heavier cords than in tabinet but lighter than in faille. Grosgrain has a very dull appearance with little luster, however it is very strong. It is a firm, close-woven, fine-corded fabric. Notes on Use: We recommend you use 1" hardware with this nylon webbing. ( D-Rings, Buckle, Triglides etc. ) These hardware items are designed with a specific size of webbing in mind. Please note that rolls may contain factory splices. If you need a continuous roll, please let us know. Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We strongly recommend that you use no more than 50% of the tensile strength of any webbing.
