A manual twist of the handle causes abrasion against the sharpening disk which sharpens and smoothes the edge of the blade. This disk lasts up to six months if used daily. Safe, economical and easy-to-use. For use with all brands of rotary blades; Not suitable for decorative edges. Removes small burrs and dull spots from the blade.

Sharpens 45mm Rotary Cutter Blades. Instructions: Unscrew handles and place blade on screw of bottom handle. Screw top and bottom handles together. Hold sharpening disk in one hand, position blade directly onto abrasive disk and twist back and forth a few times. Use coarse side (beige) of sharpening disk to smooth damaged blade edges. Use fine side (gray) to sharpen dull blade to a razor-sharp finish. Sharpen both sides of blade equally.
