Weight:  4.5-5.0 oz' Double shoulders are approximately 14 sqft "If there's a natural veg tan leather in heaven, it's this stuff."  - Bill, District Leather Supply If you're a fan of natural veg tan leather, you might never go back to your old stuff as soon as you have a chance to work with this natural veg tan from La Perla.  The grain is incredibly smooth and consistent.  It's firm, but not stiff and rigid like a lot of other natural veg tans.  It burnishes easily.  It tools well.  It dyes well.  The color is on the golden end of the veg tan spectrum (vs the whitish/pinkish end).  It has the most amazing smell - if you've never visited a tannery, the smell of this leather is the next best thing.
