The delicate lavender smell and natural look of these handmade bars of soap are a great addition to a gift basket, a hostess gift, or a guest bathroom. Cut your goat’s milk suspension soap base into cubes. Using a suspension soap base will allow your add-ins to be mixed in throughout your bar of soap, rather than sink to the bottom of the soap mold. In a heatproof bowl set over a pot of boiling water, melt the soap. You can also microwave the soap on HIGH for 30 second intervals, until completely melted. Add the lavender essential oil, and stir in. Stir in the dried lavender leaves. Pour the soap into the mold, filling all the way to the top of each cavity. Leave soap at room temperature until set (or refrigerate to set quicker). If some soap has set on the sides of your bowl, you can microwave it to melt again. Once set, push your soap out of the mold.
