MERIBELLA 75/25 DK: Approximately 100g/246 yards 75/25 superwash superfine Merino wool/silk, a luxurious 4 ply DK weight yarn. These were kettle-dyed a tonal medium neutral grey then speckled with grey, black and a bit of very dark brown. The hanks were twisted prior to speckling so coverage is relatively consistent. R

These were kettle-dyed a tonal medium neutral grey then speckled with grey, black and a bit of very dark brown. The hanks were twisted prior to speckling so coverage is relatively consistent. Regardless, this is a highly variegated colourway and each hank and batch is slightly different. Two socks knit with the same hank may not be identical. Please alternate hanks if using more than one. Additional photos are of a different bases to illustrate the colourway. This is similar to my “Selkie” colourway, but a more warm/neutral grey.
This is a sleek, soft, plied DK weight yarn that appears to have a much higher silk content than it does thanks to the superfine Merino fibre. It's slinky and decadent with some Merino smoosh remaining for good measure. It will make a lovely shawl, scarf, hat or swingy cardi, but it would be good for just about anything worn next to the skin. It has lovely drape and is silky soft and shiny.
Despite its superwash designation, please hand wash in cool water and air dry flat to maintain optimum colour and texture.
KIDMO SOCK: Approximately 100g/437 yards 55/20/25 superwash Merino wool/kid Mohair/nylon, a 4-ply fingering or sock weight yarn with a good twist.
