Our heavy 9mm rings make an excellent choice for medium to heavy chains, and other solid copper projects and accessories. They have an inside diameter of approximately 5.6mm. The outside diameter of the ring measures about 9mm wide.Our heavy copper jump rings are made by winding 14g round wire around a seven-thirty-seconds-inch mandrel to make a coil. The copper wire coil is then cut down the middle, which makes the rings “jump” off. That’s the origin of the name “jump ring”.We use these rings to finish our heavy-weight copper chains. The 9mm, 14 gauge rings have a tight aspect ratio that gives them strength in a compact size.Each package contains ten rings.
