Here is a beautiful trench art button hook/puller, with the handle made out of brass and steel. This is an excellent example of trench art. The steel hook shows signs of wear and there are areas of ageing, but it is thick and solid. A lovely piece of history and a very practical tool for dressing with buttons. Dimensions: length 142 mm = (5.6 inches), maximum width = 14mm (0.6 inches).
