Micro%20Set%20is%20a%20very%20versatile%20decal%20setting%20solution%20that%20does%20several%20things%20to%20Microscale%20Decals%20to%20improve%20application.%20Micro%20Set%20should%20be%20applied%20to%20the%20surface%20of%20the%20model%20where%20you%20will%20be%20sliding%20the%20decal%20off%20the%20paper%20backing.%20Micro%20Set%20prepares%20the%20surface%20with%20special%20wetting%20agents%20that%20cut%20the%20oils%20in%20new%20paint%20and%20converts%20the%20adhesive%20on%20the%20back%20of%20the%20decal%20to%20a%20stronger%20and%20longer%20lasting%20one.%20In%20addition%2C%20Micro%20Set%20slightly%20softens%20the%20decal%20film%20to%20make%20it%20more%20flexible%20so%20that%20it%20will%20conform%20better%20to%20the%20model's%20surface.%20Better%20adhesion%20of%20the%20decal%20to%20the%20model%20prevents%20tiny%20air%20bubbles%20from%20forming%20and%20results%20in%20an%20invisible%20carrier%20film%20for%20the%20so-called%20%22painted%20on%20look.%22%20To%20apply%20Micro%20Set%3A%20Use%20a%20soft%20flat%20artist's%20brush%20and%20apply%20Micro%20Set%20where%20you%20are%20going%20to%20apply%20the%20decal.%20Then%20slide%20the%20decal%20off%20the%20backing%20paper%20using%20a%20small%20pointed%20tip%20synthetic%20bristle%20brush%20to%20carefully%20position%20the%20decal%20in%20its%20proper%20position.%20Blot%20the%20decal%20carefully%20with%20a%20tissue%20or%20paper%20toweling%2C%20being%20careful%20not%20to%20disturb%20its%20position.%20Allow%20the%20decal%20to%20dry%20overnight.%20It%20will%20then%20be%20ready%20for%20a%20protective%20coat%20of%20Micro%20Coat%20Flat%2C%20Satin%20or%20Gloss.
