Pre-coloured clay that hardens without the need of a kiln? Sounds like an easy way to do some sculpture and it would be perfect for kids! Introducing a new member of the Jackson’s brand family: a high quality air dry clay. Jackson’s Air Dry Clay You can shape the clay by hand or use press moulds, stamps or cutters. It dries and hardens within hours or days depending on size of piece. You may wish to add water to make it more pliable to use. You can store in in its own airtight container to prevent drying. Partially dried clay can be made workable again by wrapping in a damp cloth overnight. The clay is available in three colours: white, terracotta and stone. In three sizes of buckets: 2.5kg, 4.5kg and 12.5kg. Additionally there is a collection of six bright colours together, of 500g each. Note: it is not suitable for children under 36 months. Click on the underlined links to go to the clays on the Jackson’s Art Supplies website. Postage on orders shipped standard to mainland UK addresses is free for orders of £39.
