A large Art Nouveau enameled pansy brooch crafted in 14K gold by New York maker Brokaw & Son. Violet and yellow enamel details bring a beautiful pop of color to this pretty piece. In the center is a sunny lemon quartz, possibly a later replacement. The piece weighs a solid 11.1 grams and measures 1.4” long by 1.
A large Art Nouveau enameled pansy brooch crafted in 14K gold by New York maker Brokaw & Son. Violet and yellow enamel details bring a beautiful pop of color to this pretty piece. In the center is a sunny lemon quartz, possibly a later replacement. The piece weighs a solid 11.1 grams and measures 1.4” long by 1.1” wide. There is a modern bail that was eventually added so it could be worn as both a pendant and a pin. The back of the pin is stamped with the maker’s mark of two acorns, serial numbers, and “14K” for gold purity.
