Made from dense, nonporous stoneware that blocks moisture absorption for exceptional strength, then finished with a vibrant glaze that resists stains and scratches from metal utensils and makes for easy cleanup.To use: pack the cup on the underside of the lid with butter, then fill the crock one-third of the way up with cold water. Invert the lid/cup into the water, creating an air-tight seal. When you're ready to spread, open the lid and set it on its wide, flat knob. Change the water every few days for the best results.
