Soap Making Kit for Nursing Moms or other people that got their hands on some liquid gold e.g., Breast Milk! Breast milk’s high fat and sugar content helps create creamy, silky soap. It also has nutrients and vitamins that nourish the skin and prevent infection. It’s also safe for newborns and babies with sensitive skin. If it’s safe enough for your baby to consume, it’s safe to use on your baby’s skin. I would not recommend adding essential oils for babies younger than three months. Always do an allergy spot test. Included in the kit (200 G soap Kit) - 200 Grams Olive oil-based melt and pour clear soap base. - 4 silicone molds in random shapes; please reach out if you're looking for specific ones. -2 mini bottles with essential oils, orange, and lavender oil. -Dried Citrus medley. -Dried lavender buds. -Instructions What you will need: -Microwave-safe cup -Spoon to stir Optional add-ons: -A spoon of honey. -Whole or blended oats Dried flower or herb petals like stinging nettle, rosemary, rose, or calendula. How to make it: 1. Use the sharp knife to cut the soap base into smaller chunks, collecting them in the measuring cup. Melt 7 ounces (200g) of your soap base in the microwave. It helps to melt in 15-second intervals to reduce the chances of overheating the base, which can create bubbles that won’t go away once you pour them into the mold. No effect on quality, but it certainly is not the sweet soap mold look you’re going for. Stir in between heating. 2. Once melted, allow the base to cool to 130 Degrees Fahrenheit and stir 150ml of room-temperature breast milk into the soap. Stir until well mixed. 3. Add essential oils, Flower Pedals, Powders, etc. now. You can add a few drops of Vitamin E oil, but all add-ons are optional. 4, Pour into your soap molds. A tip: the molds are flexible; before pouring the soap in, I’d recommend setting them on a small cutting board or tray to make transporting them before they’ve hardened much more manageable. 5. Refrigerate for a few hours, pop out of the mold, and use! These Soaps don't need any curing time. Good Question: How many soaps does it make with the 200g soap base using the mold included? Answer: It varies a bit as you can add dried citrus, lavender, essential oil, etc. to take up more volume in the molds, but without any additives, meaning milk and soap only, you will get roughly 6-8 molds filled. The volume of the molds also varies, which makes this even trickier to estimate, but you will get more then 4 molds full. You can either use half the soap base and half the milk to make sure you will only fill your four molds or you can literally use any mold you have at home. Clean up is easy, your molds will just be a little soapy :) Breastmilk Soap Storage: We recommend refrigeration just out of an abundance of caution; however, the soap base hardens and encapsulates the milk so it should preserve it and not need to be refrigerated in between uses after it has hardened. If you do detect any foul smell or color change in your soap, do not use and discard it.
