It's crown and dental mold combination gives this shelf a classic look. Grown in the Northwestern regions of North America, Knotty Alder is a very unique wood with large and small, open and closed knots. Its swirled grain and sometimes even splits or cracks give it a very distinct appearance. We stand behind our Mantels making certain that they are built safe and constructed well. We cannot guarantee knots or grain placement because letting its properties occur at randomwell that’s just part of its natural beauty! The "Snake River" includes everything just as you see itshelf, corbels and all mounting hardware. Also included are easy to follow instructions to get your shelf up in no time!
