This is intended for your purse/bag and as a must-pack for any work trip. For ultra fast emergencies, safety pin one of the patches in place. And for when you have 5-10 minutes to spare, grab a needle and thread and make it happen. Oh AND the Altoids container hinges can be used as the thread cutter!What the kit includes:-White sewing thread-Black sewing thread-Blue sewing thread-Red embroidery floss-Gray darning wool-Built in pin cushion in the lid-Hand sewing needle -Rounded Tapestry needle (good for knits)-Darning Needle (good for heavy duty projects-4 dress makers pins to hold things in place-4 small safety pins for emergency patch placement-1 large safety pin-4 buttons assorted sizes (black and white)-3 snaps-3 hook & eyes-1 gray sweatshirt weight patch-1 stretch denim patch-1 non-stretch denim patch-1 lightweight black knit patch (good for leggings!)-1 red t-shirt knit patch-1 woven shirt-weight white patch-1 woven shirt-weight blue/white stripe patch-Altoids Tin (aka carrying mechanism)The only things that are not secondhand sourced are the tapestry needles, dress maker pins, safety pins (because we refuse to include pins that suck) and regular weight thread. Since the rest is upcycled, each kit may vary slightly from photos.Our mission at RETHINK is to get as many things that already exist back into rotation. And when that can include sewing supplies and scraps, then even better! And when we can make it easier for others to care for and repair their wardrobe EVEN BETTER!
