Description

The tinting strength of Mixing White and Titanium White acrylic paints are compared here to understand the dramatically different effect they have on colours; both are added to Professional Acrylic Phthalo Blue (Red Shade) here. Mixing White is, as the title suggests, best for mixing colours as they retain their brightness and maintains the saturation of the colour, creating a subtle change. Titanium White is an opaque white which lightens the colour, creating a muted pastel colour. Titanium White is best used as a ground to cover a large area.
