Sheath for Mora Eldris Sheath: Brown Thread: Black ● Right-handed belt loop - Belt loop will fit up to 1 3/4" (45 mm) belts. ● 3.5 mm (9 oz) thick - This thickness is generally used to make medium size holsters, belts, and saddlebags. I have chosen it because it gives better strength and durability for the sheath and belt loop. Meaning it can stand up to more abuse. ● Welt - the sheath has a leather strip between two layers helping to protect the stitching from your blade. ● Friction lock design - it holds tight to your duty knife's handle, so it's always there. ● Full-grain leather - in short, means that the outer layer of the skin is left natural after the tanning process. Its imperfections and pores, wrinkles, and scars are kept unchanged. They are left to tell the story of its uniqueness and quality. ● Burnished edges - The sheath has sealed and burnished edges. Of course, not just for the looks but to keep them from wearing down, and to repel moisture. ● Saddle-stitched - For the sturdiness. The 90° spine of the blade has been ground especially for use with a fire starter (sold separately). Blade has a semi-matte finish and 2 mm thick stainless steel blade that stays sharp for a long time. Scandi grind makes it easy to keep sharp. Handle with built-in click lock between sheath and handle prevents knife from falling out of sheath.
