The order is for one transfer sheet, and it is a single-use product unless you are happy with more subdued color results. The easiest to work with Cernit Number One polymer clay, Crafter's Collection Advanced from Hobby Lobby, or Fimo and you will get the best results with these brands. The reasons are the following: You don't need liquid clay They can be baked at lower temperatures and for shorter periods of time compared to Sculpey which is crucial to preserve bright colors! You get the most accurate color results. The image transfer on Sculpey will have a slightly different color tone, but can be just as beautiful! These transfer sheets definitely work with Sculpey, but liquid clay has to be added to the clay by mixing it in or spreading a very thin but even layer on the surface. INSTRUCTIONS: Use white or light-colored clay for the best results. Make sure your clay is well conditioned and very smooth, even micro ridges on clay can prevent full contact with the transfer sheet and result in uneven, faded prints. Stick your polymer clay on a ceramic tile or baking surface. Making sure there are no air bubbles, roll or rub your transfer sheet to the clay a few times. Use firm pressure, but not firm enough to dent your clay. You want your transfer sheet to be stuck to the clay completely. Leave the transfer sheet on the clay for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes check if the image is transferred by lifting up the corners. If needed, leave the sheet on for another 10-15 minutes. Bake your clay according to package instructions. However the prints will withstand touch and gentle handling, it's recommended to seal the surface with a varnish or UV resin.
