These handcrafted Self-Watering Sphagnum Moss Poles can be used in pots with Leca or Soil. The anti-lean base allows the moss pole to stand up straight for an easier potting experience. All moss poles are crafted with love and made with multiple wicks to ensure equal absorption of water throughout the pole. Will retain water for about 5-7 days (or longer depending on environment) before having to fill again. The wicking cord is made of polyester-mixed capillary fiber rather than cotton to avoid any possibility of rot. Dimensions: Top part with moss is 2" thick; the diameter of the base is 3 3/8" and 1/2" thick. You have the option of choosing thick mesh (small holes) or thin mesh (larger holes.) Please be advised the thin mesh can shed a bit when the moss dries. Besides that, there is no difference in performance, it's just personal preference. Please be advised: There is an additional 6-8in of PVC added to the height of each moss pole, to bury in your pot. If you would like additional PVC or less than 6-8in, include your request in the note section of your order and I will honor it.
