20first%20stamp%20in%20the%20world%20that%20pictured%20an%20airplane.%20It%20was%20issued%20on%20December%2016%2C%201912%2C%20and%20over%2017%20million%20were%20printed.%20%20%20Less%20than%20a%20year%20later%2C%20the%20Postmaster%20General%20authorized%20ordinary%20postage%20for%20use%20on%20parcel%20post.%20%26Acirc%3B%26nbsp%3B%26Acirc%3B%26nbsp%3BParcel%20post%20stamps%20were%20then%20made%20valid%20for%20all%20classes%20of%20mail%20and%20were%20used%20as%20regular%20postage%20until%20the%20supply%20was%20depleted.%20%20The%20next%20US%20stamps%20to%20picture%20airplanes%20would%20be%20the%201918%20airmails.%26Acirc%3B%26nbsp%3B%20Most%20of%20the%20airmail%20stamps%20issued%20over%20the%20next%2094%20years%20would%20picture%20airplanes%2C%20aviators%2C%20or%20space%20exploration.%20%26Acirc%3B%26nbsp%3B%20Click%20here%26Acirc%3B%26nbsp%3Bfor%20more%20aviation%20stamps.
