8 x 10 Gelli® Printing Plate

Monoprinting on gelatin plates gives a unique result popular with many printmakers. While gelatin plates ultimaely deteriorate, Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plates are actual reusable printing surfaces. They look, feel, and react like a gelatin plate, but are made of a unique plastic that contains mineral oil. They do not contain any latex or animal products.

Gel Press plates are not gelatin - they're way better! Super durable and reusable; they are easy to clean with water. The ultra-sensitive surface requires just a small amount of paint and then grabs the tiniest details. Create designs by scraping or pressing textured objects into the wet paint. Press your paper on the gel plate, then lift the print. Creating a masterpiece is easy. Ideal for water-based media. One plate per package, measures 8x10.
