Schmetz Universal Needles are a general purpose needle that can be used on knit or woven fabrics. It will do a number of tasks sufficiently. It has a long scarf that is great for zigzag stitching and it does not damage knits. It is sharp enough to go through many fabrics but it does have a slight ball point, so it is not ideal for going through many layers or high thread count fabrics. Chrome Size 90/14 5pc- The Chrome needle resists heat and wear, will stay cool longer with less stitch distortion.

Chrome plated Universal needle resists heat and wear. The needle stays cooler with less stitch distortion. Thread passes through the eye with less friction. Chrome allows the needle to penetrate through fabric with less resistance. With a slightly rounded point, the Universal needle sews woven and knit fabrics. Needle system 130/705 H CF.
