This hot melt adhesive bonds well to a variety of substrates and is an ideal adhesive for bonding polyolefin based plastics, including polyethylene and polypropylene. In addition, 3M Hot Melt Adhesive 3731 is fast setting, with an open bead time of 30 seconds, for applications requiring quick bond times.

Ideal for mounting trim attachment and general industrial use it offers a shear strength of 350 psi. Its application method is an applicator and it is suitable for plastic and wood surfaces. With a heat resistance of up to 140°F (60°C) it is compatible with the EC Heat Gun temperature setting AED081.
