The putty can be applied directly on to the plastered surface without the need of a primer for binding. White cement based putty has good strength and abrasion resistance. Mix putty thoroughly using a mechanical mixer.Pre-wet the surface before application of birla putty.Apply putty in a bottom to top direction using a putty knife.Allow to dry for atleast 3 hours before a second coat.Sand any putty blade marks on the surface and then go for painting.
