Wistyria Editions Felting Needles are the hand tools necessary to do needle felting. Each needle has a long shank with a narrow shaft that has a very sharp tip. The needles have notched barbs on the sides toward the bottom of the shaft. Needle felting is a process that uses barbed needles to interlock wool fibers to form a more condensed material.
