Overview Duravent is a recognized technological leader in the venting industry. DuraTech inner wall is 25% thicker than competitive chimneys for an extra margin of safety. No locking bands or mechanical fasteners are required. DVL’s double-wall, the air-insulated design reduces clearances to combustibles from 18” to 6”, the closest clearance to a wall of any connector pipe. DVL improves stove performance by maintaining high flue gas temperatures for a strong, steady draft DVL's inner wall is stainless steel the flue heats up faster, stays hot longer, minimizes the formation of creosote, and has the same life expectancy as the chimney. DVL adjustable lengths to eliminate the need for cutting or crimping. DuraTech Round Ceiling Support Box - 6DT-RCS Supports chimney pipe and provides a positive connection between support box and chimney with a built-in twist-lock. DuraTech Chimney Pipe - 6DT-48 (2x) for use with a 2100°F HT chimney system, such as wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, ranges, water heaters, or other appliances fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas. DuraTech Roof Flashing - 6DT-F6 Use to weatherproof the penetration of chimney pipe through the roof. DuraTech Chimney Cap - 6DT-VC Required where pipe terminates above the roofline. DuraTech Attic Insulation Shield - 6DT-IS Required for installations that pass through an attic to prevent insulation and debris from accumulating near the chimney. Fits over Firestop Radiation Shield or a support box. Supports chimney pipe and provides a positive connection between support box and chimney with a built-in twist-lock. Designed for installation in flat ceilings only. Supports up to 60' of DuraTech Chimney. Use an adapter to attach DVL or DuraBlack to the support box. A 2” wide trim collar is included. Not painted, but can be painted with high-temperature paint.
