A rich coloured smooth terracotta clay, great for throwing on the wheel and hand-building. The earthy terracotta red colour will darken with higher firing temperatures and it looks lovely with even a plain transparent glaze on top .
It is a high quality terracotta clay made from Etruria marls with additions of fine grade fires clays. Its wide range firing range makes it suitable for industrial processes and for hobby and school use.
I would always advise to test how your clays and glazes interact with each other but I know this clay to work well with Duncan and Gare glazes.
